Photosynthesis
Photosynthesis is the process by which plants make their own food using sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide. The green colour in plants comes from chlorophyll, a special chemical that captures sunlight energy. Plants take in water through their roots and carbon dioxide through tiny pores in their leaves called stomata.
